Tawsen opens a new chapter with “Den Den”, the first single from his upcoming debut album Chokran, set for release in 2025. Rooted in his Moroccan heritage and shaped by a modern sound, Den Den blends rap, R&B and the timeless spirit of Moroccan chaâbi, creating a unique sound that bridges generations.
Produced entirely in Morocco, the track features a catchy, danceable hook and verses that echo Tawsen’s confidence and ambition. The title refers to the darija phrase mimicking the sound of a heartbeat; “Gelbi denden ya ma” (“Mama, my heart goes boom boom”), turning this into a powerful anthem of identity and emotional connection.
The music video, directed by Farid Malki, brings Moroccan tradition and pop culture to life with powerful imagery, from chikhates and jellabas to touareg aesthetics and the energy of street drift culture.
